Forest School

Today in Forest School Reception and year 1 went on a scavenger hunt around our school grounds. We talked about our findings and which one was our favourite. We also found lots of berries and learnt not to put them in our mouth as they could make us poorly.

Recycled Uniforms

Do you have school uniforms 'as good as new'?

Why not donate these uniforms back to school?

These uniforms will be recycled and sold at a cheap cost in the Oasis Community Hub.

This is an excellent opportunity for families to save money and the PTA to raise money but we need your help!

National Sports week

Oasis Academy Broadoak was pleased to be part of the Olympic Torch relay to celebrate the start of the Tour of Tameside! Well done to all involved.

Mr Motivator

Exciting news... The one and only Mr. Motivator will be coming to Oasis Academy Broadoak!!

We have signed up to support the charity Body & Soul to raise funds for mental health. The whole school will be taking part in a LIVE dance routine led by Mr. Motivator! The children will begin practicing their routine next week :) What a fantastic way to bring everybody together in these hard times.

The LIVE performance will be taking place on Friday 14th May. Children should come to school dressed in fitness clothes on this day. Please bring £1 that will go towards Body and Soul charity.

TT Rockstar Day

The children enjoyed dressing up as Rockstars and worked hard on their Maths.

TT Rockstar

On Monday 19th April we will be holding a TT rockstars day! Your child may come in dressed as a rockstar ready to take on some rockstar based challenges in their class.

OAB World Book Day 2021

The children of Broadoak dressed up as superheroes for World Book Day. We were mightily impressed with the range of superheroes from Spiderman and Thor, to Captain Tom Moore and NHS Nurses.

The children were inspired by both real life superheroes and fictional ones.

Children carried out tasks such as defeating the Evil Pea, making worm sandwiches and creating artwork inspired by keyworkers. The children ALL celebrated our love for books here at Broadoak.

A massive well done to all children and staff involved.

Welcome back

We want to take this opportunity to say that we are really looking forward to being able to see more children return to school next week.

ALL children will return on Monday 8th March.  A reminder of the timings can be found in this booklet of information.
