Learning from home
We are helping to support your children to learn from home during the coronavirus pandemic in various ways. All children were given a timetable to follow to help provide routine to your day. This is flexible and is just a guide to support.
Every morning, by 8.30, their class teachers will post the work for the day on class dojo. This is a great platform for you, your child and their teacher to interact with each other. They can provide feedback, help if you get stuck or simply provide motivation for your child which can be difficult when they are not in their normal school environment. Teachers are also still choosing their Learning Champions each week.
We are also still encouraging your children to use their normal home learning apps. We have Sumdog and TT Rockstars to continue to learn their maths and spellingshed to support their spelling.
If you as a family are struggling to access the online learning due to a lack of devices in the home or internet issues you can phone school between 9am and 3pm where you can discuss with a member of staff about your options. We do have paper packs available for collection however we are asking you to keep in contact with your child's class teacher as much as possible so they can support you with their work.
