Oasis Academy Broadoak is a fully inclusive Academy, welcoming children of all ability, backgrounds and faiths.
Applications to our Academy can be made through the Tameside Metropolitan Borough Admissions portal
Consultation took place between Friday 20th December and Friday 31st January on the proposed admissions arrangements for 2021-2022, to keep the PAN to 60. Consultation included informing parents, local schools and adjacent authorities via emails, our website and a press release. There were no objections received following consultation and the proposed arrangements for 2021-2022 have now been formally determined by the Oasis Community Learning Board.
Research has shown that children who receive good quality pre-school education acquire the skills they need to make good progress at school. They gain the social and communication skills required to become confident and happy learners.
Early years provision is part of the Early Years Foundation Stage of education. It is an exciting time for children as they learn through play based activities to become more independent and develop their own identity. Your child will enjoy a curriculum that is organised around seven areas of learning:
- Communication and Language
- Physical development
- Personal, social and emotional development
- Understanding of the world
- Expressive arts and design
Three and Four Year Old Funding
Currently all three and four year olds are eligible to receive free early years provision and from the term after your child is three he/she is entitled to take up to 15 hours of free flexible early years education.
