Student Council
Our Student Council is responsible for driving the student voice that exists at Oasis Academy Broadoak. Made up of fantastic group of children from year 2 to year 6 who were voted onto the council by their peers. The representatives meet regularly to:
- Discuss ways of improving the school
- Encourage and develop projects set by the Academy Leadership Team
- Fundraising for national and local charities
Each student gets the opportunity to nominate themselves for a place on the council, with encouragement from teachers and support staff within the academy. At the start of the year there is a special assembly, introducing each member to the academy and giving them a chance to explain why they wanted to be a part of the council.
Our student council are a point of pride for our school, and we value their input and enthusiasm everyday.
